Ask a guest for a payment
Hold a villa and send the guest a link to pay for it.
You need Razorpay connected and switched on.
Start the request
Press Request payment on Bookings, or on a phone press New, then Payment request.
Choose the stay
Choose the Guest, the Villa and the Nights. If the guest already has nights held, you can use those instead.
Say how long, and how much
Choose how long to Hold for. Choose whether it is for the Stay or a Deposit, and check the Amount: it starts at the whole stay.
Create it
Press Hold the villa and request payment. The nights are held as a booking, and a payment link is made.
Send the link
Nothing is sent to the guest until you send it. Press WhatsApp or Email guest, or copy the link.
The guest pays the full amount; part-payment is not offered. When a hold is paid in full for the stay, the booking is confirmed. If nobody pays, the hold and the link run out together and the villa goes back on sale.
Sending on WhatsApp
To send the link on WhatsApp, the guest must have written in the last 24 hours and you must have taken over their conversation.
To ask for money on an existing booking, press Request payment in its money card. That request stays open for seven days, or until a hold ends.
Track every request in Payment requests: awaiting payment, paid, withdrawn or expired.
