Connect Razorpay
Take guest payments online, straight into your own Razorpay account.
Guests pay into your Razorpay account directly, and refunds stay yours to make. You need your Razorpay API keys.
Enter your keys
Go to Settings, then Payment gateway.
- Mode: Test or Live, whichever account the keys belong to.
- Key ID and Key secret: from Razorpay Dashboard, under Account & Settings, then API Keys. The secret is stored encrypted and never shown again.
Press Save. This creates your Webhook URL.
Add the webhook in Razorpay
Copy the Webhook URL. In Razorpay, go to Settings, then Webhooks, and add it.
Paste the signing secret back
Copy the webhook's signing secret from Razorpay into Webhook signing secret, and press Save. Until both sides match, payments never reach your workspace.
Test and switch on
Press Test connection. When Razorpay accepts the keys, turn on Accept online payments.
Test keys in live mode, or the other way round
Ownstay warns you when a key looks like the wrong mode. A live key used in test mode takes real money.
Turning Accept online payments off keeps your keys but stops new payment requests. Links already sent can still be paid. You cannot turn it off or disconnect while your booking page is set to Pay to confirm.
