Connect WhatsApp

Link your WhatsApp Business Account so Ownstay can send and receive messages.
You need a WhatsApp Business Account in Meta Business Manager, and an access token for it.
Open WhatsApp settings
Go to Settings, then WhatsApp. You land on Connection.
Enter your account details
- WhatsApp Business Account ID: from Meta Business Manager, under WhatsApp Accounts. This is not the phone number ID. The two look alike, but templates live on the account.
- Access token: paste it. It is stored encrypted and never shown again.
Press Save.
Test it
Press Test connection. Four checks run: Access token, Business account, Receiving messages and Numbers registered.
If Receiving messages fails, press Subscribe. Until you do, Meta does not send your messages to Ownstay.
Add a number
A connection sends nothing on its own. Next, add a WhatsApp number for each department.
Disconnect removes only the credentials. Templates and message history are kept.
